(1) A fund to be known as the deposit guarantee contributory fund (in these Regulations referred to as the "Fund") is established for the purpose of ensuring the effective application of the deposit guarantee scheme maintained under Regulation 7(1).

(2) The designated authority shall ensure that it has adequate systems in place to determine the potential liabilities of the Fund.

(3) The Fund shall be used only in accordance with these Regulations.
