(1) An insurance undertaking authorised in a Member State other than the State may carry on business by way of services into the State on or after the date on which it is informed by the supervisory authority of its home Member State that it has communicated to the Bank the certificate and information referred to Article 148(1) of the Directive.
(2) Where the insurance undertaking intends to carry on insurance business by way of services into the State, the Bank shall notify the supervisory authority of the home Member State of the conditions under which, in the interest of the general good, the insurance business may be carried on in the State.
