Regulation 2 Interpretation.

(1) In these Regulations -

"Bank" means the Central Bank of Ireland;

"Court" means the High Court;

"CSMA Directive" means Directive 2014/57/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on criminal sanctions for market abuse (market abuse directive) [OJ L 173, 12.6.2014, p. 179.];

"Commission Implementing Directive" means Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2015/2392 of 17 December 2015 on Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards reporting to competent authorities of actual or potential infringements of that Regulation [OJ L 332, 18.12.2015, p. 126.];

"Irish market abuse law" means - (a) regulations for the time being in force under section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972, including these Regulations, made for the purpose of giving - (i) full effect to provisions of the Market Abuse Regulation, or (ii) effect to provisions of the Commission Implementing Directive or the CSMA Directive, or both, (b)
