A responsible person shall ensure that the constitutional document of an umbrella UCITS provides that the assets of each sub-fund -
(a) belong exclusively to the relevant sub-fund, and
(b) may not be used to discharge, directly or indirectly, the liabilities of or claims against any other sub-fund and are not available for any such purpose.
