4.10 Mapping business events to action types and levels

117. Table 6 shows the mapping between the business events that take place through the lifecycle of an SFT and the action types that are defined in the TS on reporting.

118. Where the counterparties agree to early terminate and to replace an SFT, this should be reported accordingly. In such cases, the counterparties should first terminate the original SFT (by sending either "Termination/early termination" or "Modification" with amended maturity date) and then submit the report of the new transaction (with action type "New").

119. Similarly, to simplify the table, all events that result in a termination of an SFT are mapped to action type "Termination/early termination", except for the event 44 that deals specifically with the reporting of the terminations.
