Recent sustainability and integrated reporting developments

A summary of recent events at the IFRS Foun­da­tion, CDP, GRI, IOSCO, ASIC, Ac­coun­tancy Europe, IFVI, VBA and WBCSD.

The IFRS Foun­da­tion has published an activity report for its capacity building programme that provides an overview of the IFRS Foun­da­tion’s capacity building ac­tiv­i­ties between COP28 and COP29 to support the use of the ISSB standards. It also outlines the IFRS Foun­da­tion’s plan for 2025. The report can be accessed via the press release on the IFRS Foun­da­tion website.

CDP and the Global Reporting Ini­tia­tive (GRI) have signed a mem­o­ran­dum of un­der­stand­ing to progress the technical alignment of the dis­clo­sure re­quire­ments of both or­gan­i­sa­tions, including a mapping exercise to enhance in­ter­op­er­abil­ity.
