The PSR and FCA are seeking information and evidence on the benefits and risks posed by digital wallets to people and businesses.
In particular, the regulators want to gather information on:

the different benefits that digital wallets provide to service users;

any features of digital wallets which prevent payments from operating as well as they could for consumers or businesses;

their role in account-to-account payments and their impact on competition between payment systems; and
-
the potential of digital wallets to create significant concerns regarding competition, consumer protection, or market integrity.
