FCA bans individual after criminal conviction

The FCA has banned an individual from performing regulated activities after he was convicted of involvement in a criminal conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation. Luke Williams was involved in the activities while in a position of trust at a bank, dealing with customer calls. The conspiracy involved at least 122 victims who were customers of the bank. The FCA said this showed a clear and serious lack of honesty and integrity such that Mr Williams is not fit and proper to perform regulated activities.
