The CMA has updated its website on Open Banking to confirm that all the “CMA9” banking providers required to complete the Open Banking Roadmap have now completed the implementation phase. AIB and Bank of Ireland have been the last banks to confirm completion, later than planned. All 9 banks now need to continue to meet their obligations under the Retail Banking Market Investigation Order 2017 to ensure customers can benefit from Open Banking.
