The PRA is proposing to carry out, together with the BoE, the third assessment of firms’ resolvability in 2026-27. It is consulting on a proposal to require relevant firms to submit their next reports to the PRA in October 2026 and publish their disclosures in June 2027 - a year later in each case than the current schedule. It says the timeline now recognises the significant work the 8 major UK firms have carried out on resolvability since 2019, and will give everyone time to prepare for more detailed assessment activities focused on the Continuity and Restructuring outcome.
