57. Construction of sections 9 and 18 of the Consumer Information Act, 1978.

Sections 9(6)(h) and 18 of the Consumer Information Act, 1978 (which relate to the prosecution of offences by the Minister, a local authority or the Director of Consumer Affairs) shall be construed as referring to summary proceedings only.
