(a) In paragraph (al), substitute "functions, or" for "functions.". (b) Insert the following after paragraph (al): "(am) to a deposit guarantee scheme in another Member State of the European Communities (including a state that is a contracting party to the EEA Agreement (within the meaning given by the European Communities (Amendment) Act 1993)) established in accordance with Directive 94/19/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 1994 on deposit guarantee schemes.". |
