(1) This Order may be cited as the Companies Act 2006 (Commencement No. 2, Consequential Amendments, Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 2007.

(2) In this Order -

"the 1985 Act" means the Companies Act 1985 [1985 c.6.];

"the 1986 Order" means the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 [S.I. 1986/1032 (N.I. 6).];

"the 2004 Act" means the Companies (Audit, Investigations and Community Enterprise) Act 2004 [2004 c.27.];

"the 2005 Order" means the Companies (Audit, Investigations and Community Enterprise) (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 [S.I. 2005/1967 (N.I. 17). Part 3 has not been brought into force.];

"the 2005 Regulations" means the Community Interest Company Regulations 2005 [S.I. 2005/1788.]; and

"the Interim Regulations" means the Takeovers Directive (Interim Implementation) Regulations 2006 [S.I. 2006/1183.] .

(3) This Order comes into force on 6th April 2007.
