(1) For the purposes of serving notices of meetings, whether under section 134(a) of the 1963 Act, any other enactment, a provision in the Articles of Association or any other instrument, a participating issuer may determine that persons entitled to receive such notices are those persons entered on the relevant register of securities at the close of business on a day determined by the participating issuer.
(2) The day determined by a participating issuer under paragraph (1) may not be more than 7 days before the day that the notices of the meeting are sent.
