The following provisions of the Friendly Societies Act 1992 shall come into force on 1st January 1993 -

(i) section 84 (disputes under the National Savings Bank Act 1971 [1971 c. 29.] and the National Debt Act 1972 [1972 c. 65.]);

(ii) section 120(1) (amendments) to the extent necessary to bring into force the provisions of Part I of Schedule 21 specified in the following paragraph; and

(iii) In Part I of Schedule 21, paragraphs 2 to 4.
