Article 6 Exemption of certain consumer hire agreements

The Act shall not regulate a consumer hire agreement where the owner is a body corporate authorised by or under any enactment to supply gas, electricity or water and the subject of the agreement is a meter or metering equipment used or to be used in connection with the supply of gas, electricity or water, as the case may be.
