The Treasury make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 39(1), (1C) and (1E) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000  [2000 c.8. Section 39(1C) and (1E) was inserted by section 10 of the Financial Services Act 2012 (c.21). See the definition of "prescribed" in section 417 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.]:
