(1) Notwithstanding section 53 of the Finance (No. 2) Act 2008, section 67 of the Finance Act 2002 shall apply as if paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of the said section 53 had not been enacted and the said paragraph (a) is deemed never to have had effect.
