(1) Nothing in these Regulations affects any designation order under the Financial Markets and Insolvency (Settlement Finality) Regulations 1999 [S.I. 1999/2979.] in relation to a designated system in force at commencement, and no system operator shall be required to apply for a new or amended designation order in consequence only of these Regulations.
(2) Expressions used in this regulation which are defined in the Financial Markets and Insolvency (Settlement Finality) Regulations 1999 have the meanings given in those Regulations.
