(1) Subject to regulation 10, the amendments in regulations 3 and 4, and the revocations in regulation 7, do not apply in relation to any Community infringement or suspected Community infringement to the extent that it occurred (or is suspected to have occurred) before IP completion day.

(2) "Community infringement" has the meaning given by section 212 of the 2002 Act before these Regulations come into force.
