Regulation 17 Continuing offences.

(1) If a person, after conviction for an offence under a provision of these Regulations, continues to fail to comply with the provision (disregarding any relevant time limit), the person commits an offence on every day on which the contravention continues and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding €500 for each such offence.

(2) Despite paragraph (1), the maximum amount that may be imposed for offences committed on consecutive days in respect of the same matter is €5,000.
