Made                                                         29th September 2020

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2)

The Treasury make these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of, and paragraph 1 of Schedule 4 and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 [2018 c. 16, as amended by the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Act 2020 (c. 1), which inserted section 8A and omitted section 8(7)(e).].

A draft of these Regulations has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.
