2. Definitions
In this Act -
"accused" in respect of an offence, means the person charged with the offence;
"Act of 1967" means the Criminal Procedure Act 1967;
"Act of 1984" means the Criminal Justice Act 1984;
"Act of 2010" means the Criminal Procedure Act 2010;
"enactment" has the same meaning as it has in the Interpretation Act 2005;
"Minister" means the Minister for Justice;
"order" in relation to a court, means a decision that the court is empowered to make under or pursuant to an enactment or the common law, or otherwise;
"the prosecution" in relation to an offence, means -(a) the Director of Public Prosecutions,(b) a person prosecuting the offence at the suit of the Director of Public Prosecutions, or(c) a person authorised by law to prosecute the offence.
