2. Simplified transfer of securities.

(1) Registered securities to which this section applies may be transferred by means of an instrument under hand in a form set out in the First Schedule to this Act (in this Act referred to as a stock transfer), executed by the transferor only and specifying (in addition to the particulars of the consideration, of the description and number or amount of the securities, and of the person by whom the transfer is made) the full name and address of the transferee.

Provided that-

(a) in the case of an instrument in the form set out in Part I of the Schedule to the Stock Transfer (Forms) Regulations, 1980, and inserted in the said First Schedule, by Regulation 4 of those Regulations, the instrument need not specify-

(i) particulars of the consideration, or

(ii) the address of the transferee, and

(b) in the case of an instrument in the form set out in Part II of the Schedule to the said Regulations and inserted in the said First Schedule by the said Regulation 4, if the transferor is a body
