(1) The Minister may, following consultation with the Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications and in accordance with this section, by regulation amend Schedule 2, where he or she is satisfied that it is necessary to do so in order to ensure that the matters specified in the Schedule adequately reflect developments in electronic communications technology and include data transmitted by means of such technology.
(2) The Minister in exercising the power under subsection (1), may consult with such persons possessing expertise in the area of electronic communications technology as he or she considers appropriate.
