14. Construction of statutory rules, etc.

Where any Act, passed after the commencement of this Act, confers power to make, grant, or issue any instrument, that is to say, any order, warrant, scheme, letters patent, rules, regulations, or byelaws, words and expressions used in the instrument shall, unless the contrary intention appears, have the same respective meanings as in the Act conferring the power.
