This Order brings section 57 (1) of the Finance (No. 2) Act 2008 (No. 25 of 2008) into operation with effect from 6th July 2012. Section 57 (1), together with Schedule 1 of the Finance (No. 2) Act 2008, provides for the repeal of provisions relating to the excise duties on auctioneers' licences, auction permits, and house agents' licences.
