2. Short title, collective citation and commencement.

(1) This Act may be cited as the Redundancy Payments Act, 1973.

(2) The Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 and 1971, and this Act may be cited together as the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 1973.

(3) This Act shall come into operation on such day as the Minister appoints by order.
