(1) The title of a trustee savings bank or anything published by a trustee savings bank shall not state or imply that the State, the Government, a Minister of the Government or the Central Bank is liable to pay to a depositor with the bank any amount in respect of his deposit.

(2) Where, in relation to a trustee savings bank, there is a contravention of subsection (1), the bank shall be guilty of an offence.
