1. Short title, construction and collective citation.

(1) This Act may be cited as the Social Welfare Act, 1991.

(2) [deleted]

(3) Section 39 (other than subsection (2)) and the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 1990, shall be construed together as one and may be cited together as the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 1991.
