A reference in any enactment to a disqualification order under the Company Directors Disqualification (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 [S.I. 2002/3150 (N.I. 4).] includes a disqualification order made under Part 2 of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1989 [S.I. 1989/2404 (N.I. 18).] that by virtue of section 29(3)(a) of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 [1954 c.33 (N.I.).] has effect as if made under the 2002 Order.
