I, Mary Harney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving further effect to Council Directive No. 75/129/EEC of 17 February 1975 relating to collective redundancies [OJ No. L 48, 22.2.75, p.29], as amended by Council Directive No. 92/56/EEC of 24 June 1992 [OJ No. L 245, 26.8.92, p.3], make the following Regulations:
