Regulation 31 Laws serving a similar purpose to Part 4A of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000

For the purposes of section 223(6) of the Act, the provision of the law of the Republic of Ireland referred to in Part 2 of Schedule 2 serves a similar purpose to Part 4A of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (permission to carry on regulated activities).
