(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Consumer Rights (Payment Surcharges) Regulations 2012 and come into force on 6th April 2013.

(2) Regulation 4 (fees a trader must not charge a consumer) applies in relation to contracts entered into on or after that date.

(3) Regulation 6A applies in relation to contracts entered into after the date on which the Payment Services Regulations 2017 were made.
