13. Offence to charge fees to certain individuals.

(1) An employment agency shall not charge an individual a fee in respect of the making of any arrangement for the purpose of that individual's being employed, subsequent to the conclusion of his or her assignment with a hirer, under a contract of employment with that hirer.

(2) A person who contravenes this section shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable, on summary conviction, to a class A fine.

(3) Summary proceedings for an offence under this section may be brought and prosecuted by the Minister.

(4) This section is in addition to, and not in substitution for, sub-section (2) of section 7 of the Act of 1971.
