3. Provisions relating to persons reaching qualifying age for old age pension

Notwithstanding section 4(1) of the Principal Act, that Act shall, with effect from the 6th day of April, 1980, not apply to a person who on the date of termination of his employment had attained the age which on that date is the pensionable age within the meaning of the Social Welfare Act, 1952.
