The competent authorities shall, whenever necessary for the purpose of carrying out their duties under the Securitisation Regulation, cooperate closely with each other and with the European Securities and Markets Authority, the European Banking Authority and the European Insurance and Occupational Pension Authority and with other competent authorities and shall, in particular, exchange information and cooperate in order to identify and remedy contraventions of the Securitisation Regulation.
