(1) The Sanctions (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 [S.I. 2019/26.] are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 8(2)(a) (Somalia), for the definition of competent authority substitute -

"(aa) 'competent authority', for the purpose of providing information in accordance with Article 9(1), means the Secretary of State or the Treasury, as the case may be;".

(3) In regulation 9(2)(a) (Afghanistan), for the definition of competent authority substitute -

"(aa) 'competent authority', for the purpose of providing information in accordance with Article 8(1), means the Secretary of State or the Treasury, as the case may be;".

(4) In regulation 10(2)(a) (Central African Republic), for the definition of competent authority substitute -

"(aa) 'competent authority', for the purpose of providing information in accordance with Article 11(1), means the Secretary of State or the Treasury, as the case may be;".

(5) In regulation 11(2)(a) (Sudan), for the definition of competent authority substitute -
