(1) Council Regulation (EU) 2017/1770 of 28 September 2017 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Mali (Retained EU Law) is amended as follows.

(2) In Article 1, omit points (c) and (i).

(3) In Article 2, omit paragraphs 3 to 5.

(4) In Article 3 -

(a) in paragraph 1 -

(i) for "Article 2, the competent authorities of the Member States" substitute "regulations 3 to 7 of the Republic of Mali (European Union Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2017, the Treasury";

(ii) for "the competent authority of the Member State concerned has" substitute "the Treasury have";

(iii) for "its" substitute "their";

(b) in paragraph 2 -

(i) for "Article 2, the competent authorities of the Member States" substitute "regulations 3 to 7 of the Republic of Mali (European Union Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2017, the Treasury";
