Where the date of confinement occurs in a week that is 4 weeks or more before the expected date of confinement, the relevant parent in relation to the child concerned shall, where the circumstances so require, be deemed to have complied with section 6 if the relevant notification is given in the period of 7 days commencing on the date of confinement.
