44. Amendment of Schedule 2 to Finance Act 2008 (electricity tax)

The Finance Act 2008 is amended by substituting the following schedule for Schedule 2:

"SCHEDULE 2 RATES OF ELECTRICITY TAX

(With effect as on and from 1 January 2020)

Description of use

Rate of Tax

Business use

€1.00 per megawatt hour

Non-business use

€1.00 per megawatt hour".
