Notwithstanding anything contained in section 5, 6 or 19 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1983, a company to which this chapter applies must have paid up share capital which, in the opinion of the Bank, will be sufficient to enable it to conduct its business effectively and meet its liabilities.
