Regulation 41 Amendment of European Union (Insurance and Reinsurance) Regulations 2015

Regulation 3 of the European Union (Insurance and Reinsurance) Regulations 2015 (S.I. No. 485 of 2015) is amended in the definition of "reinsurance" -

(a) in paragraph (a), by the deletion of "or",

(b) in paragraph (b), by the substitution of "as Lloyd's, or" for "as Lloyd's;", and

(c) by the insertion of the following paragraph after paragraph (b):

"(c) the provision of cover by a reinsurance undertaking to an institution that falls within the scope of Directive (EU) 2016/2341 of the European Parliament and of the Council [OJ No. L 354, 23.12.2016, p.37];".
