9. These specific provisions of the guidelines are subject to the following transitional arrangements:

(a) For institutions that fall under SREP categories 3 and 4 as set out in the Guidelines on the revised common procedures and methodologies for the supervisory review and evaluation process and supervisory stress testing (SREP Guidelines), paragraph 18 will apply as from 31 December 2019 [6 months after the application date of the guidelines].

(b) For SREP category 3 and 4 institutions, paragraph 114 will apply as from 31 December 2019 [6 months after the application date of the guidelines].
