3 Individual members adequate knowledge and experience criteria

24. When assessing the adequate knowledge and experience of the management body, as a whole, the credit servicer should assess all individual members of the organ to establish that they have together adequate knowledge and experience to ensure the effective functioning of the organ, including that each member has the ability to present their views, discuss strategies and business objectives and that collective decisions making processes involve appropriate discussion, challenge and oversight. For that purpose, there should be a sufficient number of members with knowledge in each area to allow a discussion of decisions to be made.

25. Members of the management or administrative organ should have an up-to-date understanding of the business of the credit servicers and all of its risks, at a level commensurate with their responsibilities.
