Regulation 13 Conclusion of contracts by electronic means: information to be provided.

(1) Subject to paragraph (4), in respect of a contract to be concluded by electronic means, the relevant service provider concerned shall clearly, comprehensively and unambiguously and prior to an order being placed by the proposed recipient of the service provide the following information to the recipient -

(a) the different technical steps that need to be followed to conclude the contract,

(b) whether or not the concluded contract will be filed by the relevant service provider and whether it will be accessible,

(c) the technical means for identifying and correcting input errors prior to the placing of the order,

(d) the language or languages in which the contract may be concluded.

(2) Subject to paragraph (4), in respect of a contract to be concluded by electronic means a provider shall indicate to the recipient of the relevant service, on the placing by the recipient of the order or as soon as practicable thereafter, which relevant codes of conduct, if any, the provider subscribes t
