Regulation 22 Issue of warrants by District Court.

If a judge of the District Court is satisfied on the sworn information of an authorised officer that there are reasonable grounds for believing that records, materials or other documents are being kept on any premises, being records, materials or other documents which relate to an activity the subject of a relevant provision (within the meaning of Regulation 21) and which an authorised officer reasonably considers it necessary to inspect for the purpose mentioned in Regulation 21(3), the judge may issue a warrant authorising an authorised officer, accompanied, if appropriate, by other authorised officers or by a member or members of the Garda Síochána, at any time or times within 1 month from the date of issue of the warrant, on production of the warrant if so requested, to enter that premises, if need be by reasonable force, and exercise all or any of the powers conferred on an authorised officer by Regulation 21.
