(1) This Part applies in relation to a bid for a body corporate, being either -

(a) a company within the meaning of the Companies Acts 1963, or

(b) a body corporate established in the State by charter,

and which is a company a bid in respect of which the Panel has (by virtue of Regulation 6) jurisdiction to supervise.

(2) Chapter 2 of Part 9 of the Companies Act 2014 shall not apply to a bid for a company or other body corporate falling within paragraph (1) in so far as it relates to securities.
