The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 286(1), 426, 427 and 428(3) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 [2000 c. 8.], and with the approval of the Secretary of State under section 286(2) of that Act, hereby make the following Regulations:
