114. Form of documents and power to prescribe fees

(1) Each of the FCA and the PRA may, by directions under this section, make provision with respect to the form of any document to be sent to it under this Act or the 1974 Act, the particulars to be included in, and the authentication of, any such document and the procedure to be followed in sending any such document.

(1A) The PRA and the FCA must each consult the other before issuing a direction under this section if the document in question is required to be sent to both of them.

(2) The directions have effect subject to any other provision of or made under this Act.

(3) As regards the authentication of a document sent to it electronically, each of the FCA and the PRA may -

(a) require the document to be authenticated by a particular person or a person of a particular description;

(b) specify the means of authentication;

(c) require the document to contain or be accompanied by the name or registered number of the society to which it relates (or both).
